Book your party, wedding reception, private/corporate event, or holiday celebration inside a piece of Lynchburg history. The building has stood on the corner of Main and 11th since 1914, and it spent most of that time as a bank. What that leaves you is a room nobody builds anymore: a main hall under coffered ceilings, arched windows two stories tall, chandeliers, and the original vault door still standing at the back of it. A bar runs along one side. Above it, the mezzanine looks down over the whole floor — a second bar, a carved fireplace, a baby grand, and a view over the rooftops. The decoration is deliberate and the architecture is genuine, which is a combination this city has in very few places and no other place you can rent for an evening.

The building holds up to 195, depending on the configuration you choose. It sets up either way: standing, with cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres across both floors, or with tables on one or both floors for a seated dinner. Sound and lighting are permanent and professional. There is an elevated booth for a DJ, and a separate staging area on the main floor or mezzanine for live music — the same one we use for our own Friday and Saturday acts, so a band arrives to a room already built for them. Downstairs, The Raven Branch can be part of your booking as a second, quieter room of forty seats, or it can stay behind the scenes and serve as the kitchen for the floor above, reached by the interior stairway without anyone going outside.
